Gotochi Kitty : Shokotan

Shoko Nakagawa "Shokotan"

Hello Kitty x Shokotan

This charm features Hello Kitty as a cat holding a Shokotan plush toy. Another version of this charm is Hello Kitty as Shokotan holding a cat.

Shokotan has cats for pet that's probably why they've created a Hello Kitty Shokotan holding a cat. ^_^

*Apart from mobile phone charm, other Hello Kitty x Shokotan items were mug, pen and a plush toy. I want a plush toy but I can't afford one. Haha!

Gotochi Kitty: Yokohama Harbor

Yokohama (Side Shore) is one of Japan's prominent port city, hence, Hello Kitty as a sailor.

Hello Kitty Flying Sailor  ^_^

Hello Kitty Sailor is only one among the many products of Gotochi Kitty that symbolizes Yokohama. I wonder why she seems to be flying here? Idea anyone?

Hello Kitty Bell Charm

Hello Kitty Bell charms are ♥ ! I've finally found a bell charm to replace my battered current one!

my poor hello kitty bell strap. abused. -__-

I hope they'd produce more of you. ^_^

I love the sound you make when I get something out of my purse. (I attach my bell charm to my coin purse) You are ♥!

Gotochi Kitty : Miyagi

If you're not familiar with Gotochi Kitty, it is a company that produces Hello Kitty products that are limited to certain regions/areas in Japan. Every product symbolizes the prefecture's popular products, attractions or famous people.

Gotochi is a fun way to get to know Japan's culture. I plan to collect as much as I can, it'll take time though because I don't buy them in bulk. I only buy around two to three of them per purchase because they're quite pricey.

Hello Kitty Sasa-kamaboko

Sasa-kamaboko is named after it's bamboo (Sasa) leaf shape. Kamaboko  is a fish paste cooked by steaming or roasting.

Sasa-kamaboko is a popular product from Sendai (capital city of Miyagi prefecture).
